Description
The Société de l'assurance automobile du Québec (SAAQ) is a corporation established in the public interest within the meaning of the Civil Code of Québec and it has the rights and privileges of an agent of the Government. The SAAQ offers an integrated management model, the purpose of which is to protect individuals. This model applies to three areas: prevention, enforcement and compensation.
The Société de l'assurance automobile du Québec comes under the authority of Québec's Minister for Transport.
