This service package, focused on Ontario, provides location-specific information to travellers in vehicles using Connected Vehicle Infrastructure Integration. Dedicated short range communications is used to deliver real-time traveller information including travel times, incident information, road conditions, and emergency traveller information to vehicles as they pass VII roadside equipment along their route. This service package provides public information that is available to all equipped vehicles in the vicinity of the roadside equipment.
