Service Package DiagramDescription
This service package provides central monitoring and control, communications, and field equipment that support ramp metering in Ontario. This package incorporates the instrumentation included in the Network Surveillance service package (ATMS01) to support freeway monitoring and adaptive strategies as an option. Currently ramp metering is deployed and operational along the Queen Elizabeth Way in Mississauga.
Coordination of traffic control plans and stategies with other agencies is shown in ATMS07.
